Plot summary
Bruno Salvati directs films, and success has been slow to come. He is fresh from a separation from his wife Anna, and they have two children: Adele, who is twenty, and Tito, who is seventeen. When a sudden illness strikes him, the diagnosis is a disease that will require a donor. The news unsettles every relationship in his family, including the one with his father Umberto, who is the custodian of a secret. That secret forces Bruno onto a journey, looking for the person who can help him. The screenplay is semi-autobiographical, and the film was shot in Livorno.
