Plot summary
Emily Benetto delivers food around Los Angeles as an independent contractor for a catering company, and her student loans leave her short of money. Because of a felony conviction for aggravated assault, the better jobs she wants stay closed to her. A co-worker introduces her to a dummy shopper service that advertises two hundred dollars for one hour of work, and she learns the job means fraud with credit cards. Youcef, one of the people running the operation, gives her a fake card and an ID and sends her to buy a flat-screen television. The money comes quickly, and she asks for a larger role. He teaches her how the cards are made, hands her a taser, and sets two rules: never sell the goods at her home, and never work the same store twice in one week.
