Plot summary
Martin Taylor is released in New York after four years in prison for insider trading; his wife Emily and his mother are there to welcome him. Emily is depressed. She drives her car into the wall of a garage in a suicide attempt and is taken to a hospital, where the psychiatrist Jonathan Banks begins treating her, and she chooses to stay under his care. One antidepressant after another fails to lift her mood, so Jonathan asks her former psychiatrist Victoria Siebert for help. Victoria suggests an experimental drug called Ablixa. The drug seems to help, though it brings on sleepwalking. Emily returns to a normal life with Martin.
