Plot summary
Herds of African bush elephants in southern Africa's Kalahari Desert get ready to leave the Okavango Delta for a grassy paradise near Victoria Falls while they wait for rain. Gaia, their great matriarch, leads the family, and her younger sister Shani has helped keep them safe. Shani is raising an energetic son, Jomo, who wants to play with animals like lechwes and baboons. As the land dries, Gaia brings the herd to a nearly dry waterhole to wallow in the mud before they move on.
