Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle is an American actress and media personality who was born and raised in Los Angeles and whose acting career began at Northwestern University, where she earned a degree in theater and international studies in 2003. Early roles were hard to come by, and she supported herself as a freelance calligrapher before a first screen appearance as a nurse on General Hospital, guest spots on Century City and The War at Home, and a stint on Deal or No Deal. Small film parts followed, including Horrible Bosses (2011), then she joined the USA Network legal drama Suits as Rachel Zane, a paralegal who becomes an attorney, playing the part for seven seasons. Other work includes the lifestyle blog The Tig, the children's book The Bench, the podcast Archetypes, and the Netflix series With Love, Meghan, for which she received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2026.
