Edmond (2005) on Netflix

Plot summary

Edmond Burke, a middle-aged businessman in Manhattan, stops at a fortune teller on his way home and is told he is not where he belongs. That evening he leaves his wife and walks the streets of New York. At a bar, he complains to another patron about how long it has been since he had sex and says that being married cost him his masculinity. The man sends him to a strip club, where a bouncer throws him out for not paying for a stripper's drink. A peep show leaves him frustrated because he cannot have sex with the performer. At a white-collar bordello he cannot afford the price, so he takes his money to a street game of three-card Monte. He accuses the dealer of cheating, and the dealer and his shill beat him and steal his cash.
