Plot summary
Earth's supply of Illudium Phosdex, the shaving cream atom, has run low, and Duck Dodgers is given the job of finding Planet X, the only place it is known to remain. He blasts off with his assistant, the Eager Young Space Cadet Porky. Dodgers charts a course of his own devising; the Cadet points out that the planets ahead are labeled A, B, C and onward, which would get them there faster. Dodgers dismisses the notion and then adopts it as his own. On Planet X he plants a claim for Earth. Marvin the Martian, arriving as Commander X-2 in the Martian Maggot, claims the world for Mars.
