Plot summary
Maike has no idea who the father of her son Jasper is. The boy is eleven and wants to meet him, so she sets out to work out which of three men from her teenage years in Füdrum it could be: a farmer, a mechanic and the village's former heartthrob. She has raised Jasper on her own, and now she packs him and his little sister Luise into the car and drives back to the hometown she left as a pregnant woman. There, her own mother Inge keeps her distance from her grandson, and for Maike the return opens old wounds.
