Plot summary

Demons are preparing to move against humanity, and human strength is no answer to them. In Tokyo, Akira Fudo lives an ordinary life until Ryo, a friend he has not seen in a long time, returns. To meet the demons, a human would need a demon's own power, so Akira and Ryo take part in a dangerous ceremony meant to create Devilman, the one hope for the world.
