Plot summary
Sam Decker served in the Gulf War and in the former Yugoslavia before he came home to teach at Hamilton High School in his old neighborhood. Angry at a system that does not work, he has handed in his resignation. Before he goes, he has one last detention to proctor, with a group of students serving it. While they are still in the building after hours, armed men invade Hamilton High to hide $300 million worth of hijacked heroin. The plan is to load the drugs into hidden compartments in two police cars in the school's auto shop and drive away. Chester Lamb leads the intruders, who do not expect anyone to be inside.
