Detective vs. Sleuths (2022) on Netflix

Plot summary

Lee Jun, once a chief inspector and one of the Hong Kong police force's finest detectives, loses his job after a mental breakdown over two wrongful murder convictions. Years later, killers who call themselves the Sleuths murder people across the city and leave the file numbers of old murder cases at the scenes, believing their victims are the real killers who escaped justice. Lee hallucinates conversations with the Sleuths' victims and with people they have not reached yet, which lets him work out who will die next and where. The police set up a task force to hunt the killers. Chan Yee, a senior inspector and the only survivor of a murder case seventeen years ago, asks Lee for his help.
