Plot summary
An American businessman named Larry reaches an Italian port city to spend time with his girlfriend, Jamie Lee, and she is nowhere to be found. Looking for her takes him through the port, its nightclubs and narrow alleys, a world of sailors, black market traffickers and women working the streets. Two rival mafia families are fighting over the city's crime empire: Nerescu, a ruthless don who controls the drug trade and who is battling a rival gang for the port, and Madame Positano, who controls the prostitutes. Larry is caught in the middle, and the few people who might help him are Ute, a hotel manager reluctant to get involved, and Bella Blu, a streetwalker.
