Plot summary
Jae is twenty four and newly released from prison, where she served time for killing her mother. Her childhood home in the small town of Ridgecrest is waiting for her, and she wants to be anywhere else.
Her brother's road trip out to Death Valley offers the escape, so she takes it. The group gets hopelessly lost in country that is as stunning as it is unforgiving, and what began as a way out of Ridgecrest turns into a matter of staying alive.
Ashley Avis wrote and directed for Winterstone Pictures and Alchemy Pictures. Mischa Barton plays Jae, with Jackson Davis as Robin, Jake Busey as Clay, Winter Ave Zoli as Rosemary, Trent Ford as Troy, Dana Rosendorff as Heather and Michael Milford as Dax. The film runs 92 minutes and is not rated.
