Plot summary
T.K. Katwuller, a Los Angeles defense attorney, represents Steven Seldes, a man implicated in the making of an illegal pornographic film. Jack Hammer, the producer of that film, is attacked by the father of its underage star, Cindy Bodeck. T.K. also has an affair with Steven, who tells her that he puts her ahead of his marriage. Detective Frank Beutel becomes part of the inquiry. Cindy's mother hints to T.K. that Steven is tied to more illegal films, and Cindy's co-star Bull Dozer says he does not know Steven. By chance T.K. meets Steven's wife Ellie and is asked to dinner at their home, where she meets their teenage daughter Janna. The visit leaves her ashamed of the affair, and she ends it in secret.
