Plot summary
Emma, the daughter of Julie and Allen Pyke, dies, and the couple leave the city for a rural area. Julie takes her camera into the woods and finds an abandoned prison there, which she photographs. When she develops the prints, images of Emma are among them. Julie comes to believe that Emma is reaching out to her and Allen through the pictures, and that her daughter has something to tell them.
