Plot summary
Adam Waltz is a lonely horror movie fan. His girlfriend has left him, so he heads for Los Angeles to be near her, and there he catches a break: a walk-on part in Pirate Wench, the latest picture from studio chief Connor Pritchett, with scream queen Cassie Blue in the cast. The luck does not hold. A killer begins stalking the set, the bodies pile up, and nobody on the production feels safe. The killings disrupt the film's budget, while Adam's part keeps getting bigger. Detectives Shields and LaRue take the case, and all of them want it closed quickly.
