Plot summary
Four bank robbers hijack a plane bound for Mexico after a storm forces the pilot to turn around. The storm still brings the aircraft down in a swamp, killing most of the passengers and one hijacker. The surviving criminals, led by Max, kill any injured passengers and force the rest to carry their stolen money through the swamp toward the town where their escape is to be completed. Flight attendant Mia is among the captives. As the group collects the loot, a crocodile erupts from the water and eats the pilot, and the robbers shoot it dead. Its forty-foot mother then begins hunting the survivors, and the robbers remain a second threat to everyone with them.
