Plot summary

Shinnosuke Nohara and his friends arrive at Tenkatōitsu Kasukabe Private Academy for a one-week stay. Top scorers get privileges; students who fall behind are pressured and bullied. Masao Sato, unable to keep up, joins a group of delinquent students, and Bo befriends Yororo, a girl who hides her love of wildlife. Toru Kazama, who wants to be elite, is attacked by a vampire said to bite high-scoring students and is left with strange bite marks and reduced intelligence. Shinnosuke and the others begin to investigate with Chishio Atsuki, a former marathon runner.
