Plot summary
Mike Anderson is an investigative journalist and an ex-Marine. His assignment brings him to a US naval base overseas, where a mysterious and fatal attack has taken place, and the ground is familiar to him. The CIA's official explanation points to a terrorist group it calls Black October. Anderson's instinct tells him that explanation is wrong, and he starts asking questions of his own. He is alone, with his combat training and his determination to uncover the truth as his only resources. What he is after is a complex and dangerous political web that threatens thousands of lives, and exposing it puts his own life in jeopardy.
