Plot summary
Sir John Rowan is a well-known plastic surgeon, and his fiancée Lynn is a fashion model much younger than he is. At a party, Rowan clashes with a photographer; in the scuffle a hot lamp falls and Lynn's face is badly scarred. Rowan, older than the other guests and uneasy in the crowd, promises to undo the damage. He experiments with lasers to revive her skin, then settles on a transplant of pituitary glands, which means killing young women for the raw material. The operation works, and the couple take a holiday at a cottage by the sea, knowing that the improvement will not hold and that more surgery will need another donor.

- Peter Cushing said the company behind Corruption split up halfway through filming because certain individuals could not agree on what should and should not appear in the final print, and that the released film was the result of their bickering.
- Because of its strong graphic content, different markets got different versions of key scenes: the murder of a prostitute is topless in Scandinavia, South America and East Asia but clothed in the U.K. and U.S. prints, and the two versions use different actresses and different dialogue.
