Sue Lloyd

Sue Lloyd was an English model and actress who began in dance and modeling before moving to screen work. Born in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, she trained in ballet as a child, but her height made a dancing career unlikely, and she was briefly part of Lionel Blair's dance troupe. She made her film debut in 1965 in two espionage films: she played Jean Courtney opposite Michael Caine in The Ipcress File (1965), and took the regular part of agent Cordelia Winfield in the ITC series The Baron. She appeared in The Avengers and made guest appearances on The Saint, The Sweeney, Department S, Jason King, The Persuaders! and Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). She also appeared in Corruption (1968), No. 1 of the Secret Service (1977), Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978), The Stud (1978), The Bitch (1979) and Bullet to Beijing (1995), and played Barbara Hunter in Crossroads from 1979 to 1985.
