Plot summary
Anna has spent years with Alessio, who wants a baby and a settled home of their own, and the fire between them has fizzled. She works as an accountant at an insurance company, with family around her. At a colleague's going away party she meets Domenico, a headwaiter at a local restaurant, older than her, married and the father of two small children. The pull between the two of them is immediate, and they begin an affair of hidden meetings, phone calls and lies. Anna's distraction goes unremarked by Alessio, while Domenico hides the affair from his wife Miriam at home.
