Plot summary
The account comes from the people who ran the cocaine trade in 1980s south Florida. Colombian traffickers move the drug through the region in huge quantities, and the money and killings that come with it remake the city. Interviews running to hundreds of hours and archival news footage, some of it not used before, supply the material. Jorge 'Rivi' Ayala, a hit man, Jon Roberts, a cocaine trafficker, and Mickey Munday, a smuggler, describe their work firsthand. Griselda Blanco and the Medellín Cartel figure in the history of the cocaine wars. Added to the original telling are stories and footage that had gone untold.
