Plot summary
The Balsano family meets at their ancestral home on Christmas Eve, possibly for their last holiday in the house. Tensions arise among them as the evening goes on. Two of the family's younger members break away for teenage rebellion, among them a teenager who slips out with friends to claim the wintry suburb for herself. The story is set in 2006.
