Plot summary
Chris Brown, an American R&B singer and dancer, gives a firsthand account of his life and career. He describes growing up in poverty, where he endures harassment from a violent stepfather until his mother gathers the strength to make him leave. Despite this, Brown excels at school and draws attention for his charisma and musical talent. His first two albums, titled Chris Brown and Exclusive, bring him massive fame. He then begins a relationship with singer Rihanna, recounting how they met and how their bond moves through bright and dark periods. Brown also speaks about his passion for making music and the experience of navigating fame while coming of age in the public eye.
