Plot summary
Cliff Holden works for the Customs Department, and the friend he has known since childhood is also his boss. That man is killed while pursuing jewel thieves, and Holden is handed the case: identify the thieves and find whoever killed his friend. The plan calls for Holden to fly to Europe and return on the same flight that Matty Royal, a suspect, is due to take. The trail he picks up leads from Paris to New York.
