Plot summary
Dylan and his friends have picked a local island for one last weekend together before they leave for college. Kyle, Jenna, Dawn and Trevor are with him. Elsewhere, a man convicted of murder is being held at a maximum security prison while he waits on death row, and he gets away from the authorities. Reporters in the local papers nickname him The Butcher, a name that comes from the way he cut up the people he killed at a deli in town. He hides out on that island, the one where the friends have gone. They do not know he is there, and their weekend becomes a fight to stay alive.
