Plot summary
Evelyn is an elderly woman in the advanced stages of dementia. Julia, a compassionate hospice nurse, arrives at Evelyn's remote lake house to care for her through a night shift. As the hours pass, Evelyn's behavior grows more erratic. She recites disturbing prayers, and she addresses Julia as her deceased daughter. Julia begins to suspect that something otherworldly is wrong with the woman, and that a malevolent demonic presence is in the home with them. Trapped in the house with her patient, she must fight to survive the night.
