Plot summary
For a year, Rock Keats has worked alongside Archie Moses, a small-time Los Angeles thief who moves drugs for the drug lord Frank Colton. Colton washes the money through a car dealership, and Moses believes Keats is simply his closest friend. Keats is really Jack Carter, an LAPD officer working undercover, who befriended Moses to get inside Colton's crew and has come to care about him. Carter gets himself included in Colton's next shipment, intending to arrest Colton and to bring Moses in unharmed. Before Carter can act, his cover falls apart, and a hurt Moses draws a gun on him.
