Plot summary
A painful split from Hassan, his former partner, left Mo, a doctor in Los Angeles who is gay and Muslim, keeping to himself. On the first day of Ramadan, Kal, an All-American guy, asks to break the fast alongside him. Mo agrees, and through the holy month the two share iftar each night. As the daily fasts pass, Mo and Kal get to know each other over those dinners.
