Boogaloo Shrimp Documentary (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Michael Chambers, an American dancer and actor who performs as Boogaloo Shrimp, builds a career on waving, ticking, backsliding and liquid animation during the breakdancing boom of the 1980s. He first becomes known as a child star, taking the role of Turbo in the 1984 movie Breakin' and its sequel Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. While still a teenager he joins a Lionel Richie tour and appears in the video for "All Night Long." The decade also brings work in Breakin n' Enterin', a 1983 television documentary on Los Angeles hip-hop, the character Urklebot on Family Matters, and hosting duties on Fun House. When Michael Jackson sees that program, he asks Chambers to his compound so the two can work on moves together.
