Plot summary
Bee, who grew up in Eastern Europe and has little money, is the girlfriend of Sophie, who is rich. Sophie brings Bee along to a hurricane party at the home of David's family, and David and Sophie are best friends. Emma, David's girlfriend, is there, along with Alice, who makes a podcast, Alice's boyfriend Greg, who is much older, and Jordan. After drinking, taking drugs and dancing, the group agrees to play a game called Bodies Bodies Bodies: one of them is secretly the killer, and the rest try to get away. David hits Greg during a slapping game and then provokes him, so Greg goes to bed. David argues with Emma and leaves, the storm worsens and the power goes out.

- Bodies Bodies Bodies was hit by online controversy after New York Times critic Lena Wilson panned its use of nudity, calling the film a "95-minute advertisement for cleavage" and for Charli XCX's latest single; star Amandla Stenberg messaged her on Instagram, "Maybe if you had gotten your eyes off my tits you would've watched the movie!"
- A24 bought Kristen Roupenian's spec script in March 2018, and early drafts included a killer, but director Halina Reijn and screenwriter Sarah DeLappe decided to excise the character.
