Plot summary
The show is the performer's first hour-long special, staged in front of an audience at the House of Blues in Boston. He works the stage alone. Much of the material is musical, with wordplay running through the songs and the spoken stretches between them. Haikus and dramatic readings are worked into the set, and so is blasphemy. A music video sequence brings a dancing dad to the screen. Boston is the performer's home town, and by the time of the taping he was known as an internet phenomenon.
