Plot summary
Three children are playing hide-and-seek among trees somewhere in Israel. One girl slips into a closet in an abandoned house, and a stranger carries her off. Dror, a school teacher, is arrested as a suspect and tortured by Micki's police unit to make him reveal where the girl is. A boy playing nearby films the interrogation on his phone and puts the video online. An anonymous caller then tells the police where the girl's body lies in a field; she was sexually assaulted and her head is missing, which matters under Jewish burial law. Micki loses his job over it but intends to kidnap Dror for a confession that clears his name. The case passes to Rami, and the girl's father, Gidi, a retired military man, has his own plan to take Dror.
