Plot summary
Danny Bernstein is a deeply emotional man, and Noa, the girlfriend he adores, ends their relationship because she finds his sensibilities hard to bear. He calls her and calls her, and she ignores him. Devastated, he learns that his body is not human but an engineered robot. Goldschmidt, his boss, and a small robot named Robo Joseph stand with him as, with new confidence, he sets out to face Noa. He finds that she has been kidnapped, and that both of them are caught in a high-tech conspiracy that hopes to turn robot-humans like him into weapons of violence.
