Plot summary
A collection of Egyptian artifacts from an archaeological dig reaches the Louvre in Paris. Experts use a laser scanner to date a sarcophagus, and the scan frees a spirit that escapes into the museum's electrical system. Curator Faussier brings in the Egyptologist Glenda Spender, who studies the findings and names the mummy in the coffin as the evil spirit Belphegor. Across the street, Lisa goes after her cat into the museum once it has closed and gets an electrical shock that puts the stray spirit into her body. Verlac, a renowned detective, is brought out of retirement to look into the shrinking Egyptian collection.
