Bad Romance (2022) on Netflix

Plot summary

Rob is a loner who has trouble connecting with people and is desperate for love. He devises an elaborate, cinematic story to introduce himself to women: he says he is hunting Jack S., the man who murdered his wife, and presents the search as a matter of loyalty. Hannah, who tends bar and was once Jack's wife, offers to join him in the hunt. Rob sees it as a chance to grow closer to Hannah, who is single now, and to remake himself as the man she would want. He hopes the search will bring him friendship as well as love.
