Plot summary
Seven years ago April was abducted, and the babysitters club she and Angela belonged to came apart. Every member but Angela blamed Bianca, who had been with April when she disappeared, and April has since been declared dead in absentia. Angela chats with her neighbor Mr. Walker, April's father, and invites Bianca to a Halloween party she is throwing to cheer her up. Lucky helps Angela prepare while Bianca brushes off her ex-boyfriend Tyler. That night a man in a white mask kills a babysitter, then another girl in the woods, and Bianca sees a masked figure leaving a building where a coworker has been murdered.
