Plot summary
The Webbers are an everyday American family. A television station chooses them for a reality program that carries their name, and the family relocates to a house equipped with cameras and microphones. The station pays them to go about their routines while the recordings air for viewers, who are drawn into the family's real-life soap. The arrangement brings the Webbers fame they did not expect, and the expectations of the audience and of their new life begin to press on the family.
