Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp (1982) on Netflix

Plot summary

Aladdin is a street-smart boy with no money who lives with his mother in an Arabian desert city, and he steals from merchants and market sellers with his gang of friends. An evil wizard approaches him and promises great riches if he will go with him to a cave in the desert and bring back a lamp from inside. Aladdin finds it, but at the cave entrance he refuses to hand it over, and the wizard seals him in. Using a magic ring the wizard gave him, Aladdin summons a Genie who frees him, and on the way home he adopts a jerboa as a pet. At home the lamp releases a stronger Genie, who serves Aladdin and his mother a meal. The next day he meets Badral, the Sultan's daughter, who is avoiding the Grand Wazir's son.
