Adopt a Daddy (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Damien works at a primary school and keeps to himself until the day his student Bahzad and Bahzad's mother are told they must leave the country. To stop that, Damien goes to the authorities and presents himself as the boy's father. The move pulls him back toward the militant history of his own parents. He turns to his sister Mélanie, who has made a career as a business lawyer, and to his friend Rudy, and gathers a group of unlikely companions around the plan. They mean to break the law out of solidarity, and the fight quickly grows past what any of them planned.
