Plot summary
The one-night concert is the largest Adele has given in New York and her first American performance since 2011. Her set moves through "Hello", "All I Ask", "Set Fire to the Rain", "Skyfall", "Someone like You", "Million Years Ago", "When We Were Young" and "Rolling in the Deep". Five further songs were played live but left out of the broadcast, among them "Water Under the Bridge", "One and Only", "Hometown Glory", "Chasing Pavements" and "Daydreamer". An average of 11.3 million viewers watched the special, which drew a 3.0 rating with adults 18 to 49, the strongest figure for a prime-time concert special in that group since the Eagles' farewell tour, and it held the audience of the show that came before it.
