Plot summary

A man in a hockey mask attacks Linda as she leaves the barn where she keeps her horse. The police ask questions that suggest she caused it, though they admit other women have reported the same attacker. Her boyfriend accuses her of cheating and doubts it was rape, so they break up. Seamstress Karen is attacked in the same way. At a line-up Linda and Karen encounter Teresa, Nancy and Angie, other victims. A detective says the rapist cannot be identified. The five women gather at Linda's apartment, set up a phone line, and learn self-defense from Tiny.
