Plot summary
Adelaide Kay is a rising singer with a hit single, a publicity romance she dislikes and a manager who does not let her write her own songs. After a quarrel on the road, she leaves her tour bus and is left behind, stranded in the cold of a small town without money, phone or plan. She gives her name as Addy, and the Lapps, who run a Christmas tree farm, take her in without knowing who she is; only their grown son Dylan recognizes her, and he keeps her secret. Dylan writes songs and hopes to move to Nashville, and the family is close to losing the farm.
