A Naija Christmas (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

Mama Agatha Agu wants grandchildren, and her three sons show no sign of providing any. Mocked at a meeting of the ladies of undiluted destiny for not being a grandmother, she sets a condition of her own: whichever of her sons marries first will inherit her house in Ikoyi. Ugo, Obi and Chike each take up the challenge. Ugo owes money to a loan shark called Tony Torpedo, asks old flames for help, and meets Ajike, a chorister, at the church his mother takes the family to. Obi proposes to Vera in front of an audience; she walks away and tells him that a good pitch at work is what will win her back.
