Plot summary
A series of murders has left Milan frightened: the victims are people the killer considers deviant, and an ornamental dragonfly soaked in the victim's blood is left on each body. Several of those killed come from the city's underworld. Paolo Scaporella, an inspector with the Milan police, is assigned by his superiors to investigate the dragonfly case and put an end to it. His girlfriend, Silvana, works the case at his side, and the two of them review the deaths together in order to narrow down the possibilities of who the murderer could be.
