The Impatient Alchemist (2002) on Netflix

Plot summary

Sergeant Rubén Bevilacqua of the Civil Guard's Central Operational Unit and his assistant, Virginia Chamorro, are sent to a roadside motel. A naked man has been left tied to a bed there, with no marks of violence on him. He is Trinidad Soler, a man with a wife and two young children who is well regarded at the nuclear power plant where he works. His job makes the inquiry delicate, and alarmist articles about the death appear in the press. The officers cannot yet tell whether he died from an excess or was killed.
