Plot summary
Christmas is a week away in Bayside, and Charlotte divides her time between the family restaurant, where she helps her mother, and her painting. She keeps reaching for a style of her own, but her shifts leave little room for the work, and the canvases she finishes do not satisfy her. Disheartened, she throws out her latest painting. It turns up at the town's Christmas art festival. Wyatt, an artist visiting for the festival, comes across the discarded piece and enters it, using the festival's exposure to track down whoever painted it. Charlotte discovers that her painting has been submitted to the festival without her name on it.
