Plot summary
After helping Dominic Toretto escape in Los Angeles, former LAPD officer Brian O'Conner lives in hiding in Miami, earning money in street races organized by his friend, mechanic Tej Parker. A police ambush after a race ends in his arrest, and FBI Special Agent Bilkins and Customs Enforcement Agent Markham offer to clear his record if he goes undercover against drug lord Carter Verone. Brian agrees on one condition: he chooses his partner, his estranged childhood friend Roman Pearce, who distrusts him for having been a cop and takes the same record-clearing deal. Customs agent Monica Fuentes, working undercover for Verone, brings them into his circle and hands them two customized vehicles for the job.
