Plot summary
Told in eight chapters, this Slovak comedy begins with a simple man taking a pen he is offered and putting his name to a blank piece of paper. Everything that goes wrong afterwards runs back to that signature.
What unfolds is a romantic gangster story in which the criminals prefer not to shoot, so that they can still hear their own consciences. Blood is spilled, but only over women worth laying down a life for, and money turns out to be the love that hurts most of all.
Rasto Boros wrote and directed for Lipstick. Milan Ondrík plays Bandy Kohary and Rebeka Poláková plays Katona Kitty, with Attila Mokos as Lucano Wembery, Tomas Mischura as Zsolti Bofanti, Jana Kovalcikova as Janka Bofantiova, Petr Vanek as Vincenc Draxl, Zoltán Mucsi as Sani Pataky and Éva Bandor as the bank director. It runs 90 minutes and carries no rating.
